You are very much welcome to our parish website - Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Kenmore-Moggill. Hopefully, your browsing through the website will be enriching and help you familiarise yourself with the different activities of our Parish life. The programmes and services of different groups and ministries in our parish can equally be accessed.

For newcomers to our Parish, we would be pleased if you could approach the information desk in both Churches - Our Lady of the Rosary, Kenmore and St. Catherine’s Moggill to pick up our Parish welcome pack and register your name and family by filling in the form and returning same to the office.

We do have a welcome gathering for all newcomers once a year and we will contact you at the appropriate time. Be assured that we respect your privacy and can only use the information you provide to update our register and for easy communication with you as a parishioner.

We are very much committed to working along together in our faith journey, and should you require any assistance from the parish, please feel free to contact the parish office.

In the attempt to 'start afresh from Christ' (Novo Millennio Ineunte, III), in the communion which is in Jesus, we have decided to call the whole Church in Australia to celebrate ‘A Year of Grace’ from Pentecost 2012 to Pentecost 2013.” Archbishop Philip Wilson Mike Humphrys, Archdiocesan Coordinator for the Year of Grace and a member of the National Planning Team for this project of the Australian Catholic Bishops will explain what this project means for us personally and as a nation and suggest ways in which we can embrace this invitation to journey with our Bishops in listening to the Spirit. World Marriage Day: WMD honours husband and wife as head of the family, the basic unit of society. It salutes the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice and joy in daily married life. We will be celebrating this special day in our parish on the weekend of Sunday 12 February.

Lenten reflection group
A Lenten reflection group will meet at St Catherine's on Tuesday afternoon from 1.00 to 3.00, commencing 21 February. The program, Towards the Light (published by the Brisbane Archdiocese), focuses on the Lenten gospels. If you would like to join the group please fill out the sign up sheet at Moggill or Kenmore. Books will be on sale through the Parish Office. Enquiries to Miriam (32026856).

Towards the Light Seminar:
Parish Hall, 19 Randolph St, Graceville. Wednesday 8th February
A beautiful way to prepare for Lent this year. The seminar will commence with a cuppa at 7:15pm and will be led by Fr Anthony Mellor and Rob Cosgrove from Faith & Life. We will begin with a visual reflection on the significance of light in the universe – how it gives life and illuminates our world. This will be followed by prayer and meditation. Fr Anthony and Rob will provide input on the symbol of light as a metaphor for God’s grace and mercy – and our response in faith, words and actions. The group will also reflect on the meaning of Lenten practices and symbols. The seminar will conclude with prayer at 9 pm.

The Catholic Parish of Corinda Graceville is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons interested in working as a member of a parish team in a dynamic and diverse parish community. Tasks include planning, coordinating and actively delivering sacramental, liturgical and pastoral programs/events; and serving the needs of our parish community.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Archdiocesan Pastoral Ministry Pay Scale commensurate with experience and/or study.
